AAPC has many online programs to assist you with preparing for whichever credential you seek!
A local school with a goal to goal is to 'provide our students with the support and instruction needed for them to complete an 80-hour program with a minimum of a C average grade. Students will then receive a certificate of completion from A16 Coding Training Institute and will then become eligible to sit for the certification exam.'

ionHealthcare has 'several CPC-I (certified professional coding instructors) and staff with degrees in education. Our CEO is the author of the CRC® (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) specialty proficiency curriculum that is offered through the AAPC nationally, and we offer this proficiency preparation program for this specialty for those already certified for our clients. Besides the AAPC, we are the only other organization where this specialty proficiency curriculum may be obtained'.
Mid-Atlantic Coding, LLC
This local educator offers a '4 month program that will take you through medical terminology, anatomy, billing, and coding.
After you complete the program, you are eligible to sit for your coding exam through the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders), to become a CPC (Certified Professional Coder). '
